What does building Courage mean?
While some individuals are naturally more courageous than others it is possible to build competence in Courage. The behaviors that comprise Courage, derived from the Checkpoint 360 of Profiles International, Inc., are: instilling trust, providing direction and delegating effectively. The Courageous leader instills trust, provides direction and delegates effectively. Behavioral descriptors of each element are described in the box below.
