What does BPM certification mean and how recognized is it?
Despite the fact that BPM has been around for a number of years, it is just now starting to gain general acceptance. Anyone can offer certification but it is meaningful only if it is well recognized in the marketplace. The CPM-P (Certified Process Manager – Practitioner) certification is recognized by Edexcel, a leading provider of internationally recognized qualifications based in the UK. In addition to this, the BPT-P (Business Process Transformation – Practitioner) course is recognized for partial credit by Exeter University Business School, as an integral part of their soon to be launched Masters Degree in Business Process Management.
