Shasha – I am taking a stab at this one but it seems like the heart of this question is has to do with people who were in and now left the church or have left and now want to come back. I say since in addition to it being in your question and coming up again in the discussion. So I want to say first if you, or someone who you know is worried that they have committed an unforgivable sin by leaving the church or walking away – and that somehow that means that God will never love you again – STOP. Stop right now or tell the person dealing with this to stop thinking that somehow God is not going to accept them or love them again because the left the church even if they want to come back. The history of the church is just too full of people who have left and somehow came back. God doesn’t call us sheep for nothing.
