What does \beyond the expected\ mean?
“Beyond the expected” is at least mildly positive (it might mean beyond the very poor performance I expected), but you would never apply it to yourself, only to someone else’s performance. It would be difficult for someone to figure out what “I’m beyond the expected” is supposed to mean about you, and it sounds very self-centered. I’m not sure what you’re trying to say, but you might consider something like “I turned out better than I expected” or “I performed better than I had expected.” If you’re talking about the expectations of others, not yourself, you might say “I turned out (or performed) better than anyone had expected of me.” Hope that helps.
