What does Avondale recycle?
Residents can recycle most clean household paper, including newspaper, magazines, phone books, cardboard and chipboard (like cereal boxes); Glass: Food or beverage glass bottles and jars only (No window panes, mirrors, ceramics or dishes); aluminum like clean soda cans, foil and clean disposable baking pans; steel; tin, and plastic containers. Please look at the bottom of your plastic containers for the recycling symbol #1-PETE or #2-HDPE. We only recycle those plastics. A list of recyclable materials can be found at the link below.
