What does available balance mean?
Your available balance is the amount of money in your checking or savings account that is currently available to you. Maintaining a positive available balance is important to avoid overdraft or returned item fees. Your available balance reflects cleared or posted transactions and some pending transactions.
Available balance is the amount of money in your checking, savings, or Master Relationship/Money Manager account that is currently available to you. Your available balance reflects most cleared and pending transactions. Credits subject to a hold and some other pending credits (such as some automatic deposits) will not increase your available balance. All pending debits will decrease your available balance. Your available balance may differ from the running balance shown in your transaction list for several reasons, including deposits subject to a hold, or deposits where you may not receive full credit on the day you make the deposit, however your running balance reflects the total amount of your deposit. View cleared and pending transactions Account Activity includes cleared and pending transactions.
Your Available Balance is the amount of money in your checking or savings account that is currently available for you. It includes all Cleared and Processing transactions. Keep in mind that any transactions you have made but Bank of America has not yet received need to be subtracted from your Available Balance for you to know the exact amount of money you have to spend or withdraw.
