Nothing. It’s free under the terms of the Perl Artistic License. In brief, legally inaccurate terms, this means that you are free to use, modify, and redistribute ATOMS as you please, with the caveat that, if you modify the code I wrote and redistribute it, you must share your changes with me. It also means that, if you write your own code using the crystallography or x-ray absorption modules that comes with ATOMS, that code belongs to you.
