When a product meets an ANSI approved standard. In June of 1999 the 107 standard was established by ANSI as the accepted standard for the design and performance of High Visibility Safety Apparel, known as 107-1999. It was revised in September of 2004 and is now known as 107-2004. A new standard, 207, was implemented in 2006 as the accepted standard for Public Safety Vests (PSV) known as 207-2006. Our charts do not represent official, legal, or complete interpretations of the ANSI 107-2004 or 207-2006 standards. Please rely on and refer to the standards themselves in answer to specific questions.
