What does “anonymized” email mean?
“Anonymized” simply means eBay will replace the sender’s email address in the “From” field with a temporary anonymous address, and replies will be routed through eBay for processing prior to delivery. Only the email address is made anonymous. You’ll still be able to identify the eBay member from their eBay User ID included in the subject header and/or personal details such as name and/or business name that would be included in most communications.
