In order to offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, the organization offering the activity must be accredited by either the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) or an ACCME-recognized state medical society (SMS), or be a joint sponsor with an entity that is accredited. An accredited provider must follow all of the ACCME and AMA requirements in order to designate a CME activity for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
