What does an on-line test author do?
Test authors write technical questions used in the ReviewNet on-line test system to assess the skills of job candidates. ReviewNet test questions are scenario-based. For each question, an author writes 5 answer choices with rationales behind each answer. The questions are written to follow an outline that identifies the knowledge to be assessed in the evaluation. After the questions are completed, they go through a thorough review process. The author incorporates modifications identified from the question review process to ensure the questions meet the highest standards.
