what does an oem graphics card mean?
Answer OEM Hardware is Original Equipment Manufacture, it isn’t secondhand, however the term is used in application to barebone used equipment by some resellers. What OEM hardware is, is basically white boxed products, for example if you order an OEM hard drive all you get is a box and the drive, if you order an OEM graphics card, you get the card, the driver CD, the direction manual, and any cables that the card might need (like a VIVO cable or a CrossFire bridge, however if it’s not a needed part (like if the retail incl an S-Video cable) you won’t get that) So basically you get the stripped part, white boxed, the hardware and the bare minimums of it, so if you don’t want the “free” extras or the advertising literature you can usually save yourself a few bucks and pick it up OEM.
