What does an intake breather do?
When replacing an air intake sometimes there is an extra tube which is no longer necessary to be plugged in anywhere. Usually people just leave them alone. However those little tubes are still sucking up air and if something really small but destructive gets into that tube, it will ruin the engine. A breather is a mini air filter which goes on those tubes to avoid them from being unfiltered. It can also be put on the intake pipe itself if a tube is no longer necessary to be put into the pipe.
