A-Short-term trips, or missions trips, serve several purposes, all of which will enable, equip, and empower nationals and missionaries to become agents of change in their nations. A short-term trip can be to conduct a Tutor Training Workshop, a Story Approach Workshop, an EASEL Institute, an emPower conference, a teacher in-service, an English camp or a combination of two or three. Each trip is different as each trip is designed to meet the needs of the nationals. Training for some teams will be in the US but for most it will be on the field as the main purpose is to train and equip nationals and missionaries on the field. All participants are highly screened. All applicants for a short-term trip must be 18 years of age, complete a lengthy application with references, be a participating member of a church and come highly recommended as a person with Godly character and a servant’s heart.
