What does an aircraft maintenance engineer (mechanical) apprentice do?
An apprentice aircraft maintenance engineer (mechanical) is involved in inspecting and certifying that work done on aircraft complies with written airworthiness standards. Aircraft maintenance engineers (mechanical) may specialise in different types of aircraft such as turbo jets, helicopters or propeller-driven aeroplanes.
