What does an adult caution mean?
Wher was that, UK or USA or elsewhere, it would be very nice if those asking the questions of this sort put that sort of information as the answers can be totally different. In the UK, a person can be offered and accept a caution for some offences, basically they don’t have to go to court, BUT the caution does remain on record, and classes as a criminal conviction in some circumstances, eg in a police record check for working with children. If you didn’t do anything wrong, then you should argue the point in open court.
