The mother Donna (Meryl Streep) shouts “It’s Aphrodite!” when the crack widens and water shoots out. Earlier in the movie the daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) mentions that the villa was supposedly built on Aphrodite’s fountain, so when the water comes Donna agrees with delight.
