At Alcan Packaging the health and safety of our workforce is of utmost importance. Our vision is to be a recognized leader of environment, health and safety excellence in everything we do and everywhere we operate. To this end, we have introduced in 2003 the EHS FIRST program. EHS FIRST is based on ensuring a consistent and standardized Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) approach towards people, the environment and the community. By establishing indicators in all business units, sectors and groups, performance can be tracked and benchmarked, and improvements can be implemented based on best practices.
