What does AF, BFN, FMU mean in Trying to conceive?
It drove me nuts at first too. Here are all the ones I’ve learned – in case you or anyone else reading needs to know AF= Aunt Flow (period) FMU = First Morning Urine (the best way to detect pregnancy early on since its more concentrated) BFN = Big Fat Negative (pregnancy test) BFP = Big Fat Positive (pregnancy test) HPT = Home Pregnancy Test PCOS = Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome CD = Cycle Day DPO = Days Past Ovulation BBT = Basal Body Temperature OPK = Ovulation Predictor Kit CM = Cervial Mucus EGCM = Egg White Cervical Mucus (the most fertile kind indicating ovulation will happen soon) Thats all I can think of for now and are the most common ones used.
