The company name “ACTS” was originally chosen to honor the Book of ACTS in the Bible and was an a acronym for the company’s original name, “Adult Communities Total Services.” In the early 2000’s, however, this acronym was retired when the company formally changed it’s name to “ACTS Retirement-Life Communities.”
