ACH stand for Automated Clearing House. ACH is the recognized standard for transferring funds electronically. The Texas SDU accepts two ACH formats, CCD+ or CTX(820). Both of these formats include an addenda record, which contains the employees posting information, which is needed for accurate processing of the funds.
