Aalta features skis designed for women by women. However, manufacturers do not make woman specific skis for beginner woman so we do the next best thing..we move the binding forward one cm on the ski. This puts the ladies balance point where it belongs as ladies carry their weigh further back then men. It helps ladies apply pressure on the tip of the ski and therefore it is easier for them to turn the skis. They love it and so do their husbands.
