USAC has representatives on a variety of university committees. Information on the committees is available on the committee page and in the charter. Committee representatives are not necessarily elected USAC council members. Each summer, USAC will notify all unclassified staff of committee opportunities. Any unclassified staff may submit a letter of interest for the openings. USAC officers will review the submissions and select the individuals. Committee representatives have several responsibilities: Attend their committee’s meetings and participate Attend monthly USAC meetings to update council on committee activities Provide the USAC secretary with information for the USAC minutes Committee representatives also participate in the USAC meetings and may have the opportunity to be involved in additional projects.
