Here is a sample schedule to give you an idea of how the week is structured: Mon & Tues: 8:30 – 11:30: Students in their Major Studios 11:45 – 12:45: lunch 1:00 – 5:00: back to the Major Studio 5:15 – 6:15: dinner 6:30 – 10:30: Open Studio or Movie Night in the Residence Hall Wed & Thurs: 8:30 – 11:30: Drawing class for all students 11:45 – 12:45: lunch 1:00 – 5:00: Design class for all students 5:15 – 6:15: dinner 6:30 – 10:30: Open Studio Fri: Field Trip or Workshop with Visiting Artists Field trips in the past have included a visit to the MFA in Boston. Visiting Artists have conducted workshops in making glass beads, jewelry, figure sculpture, and artists books. Sat & Sun: We usually plan an overnight camping and kayaking excursion in Casco Bay for one weekend. Other weekends might involve an afternoon trip to the beach after a late brunch. Open Studios are scheduled Sunday afternoons and evenings.
