What does a “TOO MANY USERS” message mean when I try to connect to some electronic products?

For some products (databases or journals) the Library has been able to purchase some number of licenses. If, at the same time, eight or more individuals attempt to connect from Lutheran Medical Center this message will appear. If you wait for a reasonable period of time (10 – 15 minutes) you may have better results. This period of time is actually defined by how long the current users of the product maintain their link. There is no automatic queue.
