What does a solar-thermal energy plant consist of?
Solar-thermal energy plants consist of a solar collector, a control unit with pump and an adequately insulated hot water accumulator. Specifically coated copper sheets collect the solar energy in the collector. Copper tubes through which a thermal carrier fluid flows are located beneath the sheets. The control unit and pump ensure that the heat reaches the accumulator. Due to this, hot water will also be available at night or on rainy days.
