What does a Screenplay Look Like?
Screenplays have surprisingly simple formats. Though simple, following the industry standards for formatting scripts is critical if you want your screenplay to be read. The three elements on any one page include: the scene heading, a one-line description of the scene’s location and time of day; the scene description, a few lines which set-up what we’ll see on screen and last, the characters’ dialogue.
