What does a RTO do if it wants to provide training in another state/territory or in another country?
A South Australian approved RTO can commence operations in another State, Territory or Offshore at any time for those courses/qualifications for which it is registered to deliver in SA. However, the RTO must ensure it has all the appropriate facilities and VET Resources available in the other State or Territory to deliver the training as required under the AQTF Standards. The RTO is required to notify Quality Directorate within 21 days of commencing operations by submitting a Mutual Recognition proforma (DOC 432KB). Further details regarding the RTOs obligations for interstate and/or offshore delivery can be found on the interstate delivery section of the website.
