What does a Post Entry reviewer do?
The post entry reviewer receives an email containing notes from the enterer, a comparison of the distribution before and after the change, and system generated informational and warning messages. All of this information is included in the email. The reviewer ensures that the entry is complete and correct. If the reviewer is a grant or contract principal investigator they ensure that future payroll charges based on these distributions are appropriate and allowable on their award. 7. Can the enterer and the reviewer be the same person? Yes, the enterer may also be a reviewer. 8. How long will we have for review? We strongly recommend that entries and review be completed by the close of business the day before Exception Time Reports (ETR) and Positive Time Reports (PTR) are generated. This will ensure accurate ETR and PTR files or forms. Last minute entries and corrections can be made after the ETR and PTR are produced but must be completed prior to 3:00pm on calculation night cutoff. 9.
