The Celebrant will create a sacred space and will call the couple over. They will be blessed with their hands tied together in ribbons or cord. They will exchange vows and sometimes rings and jump over a broomstick held near the ground . The ceremony can be made to include poetry or music to reflect the couple and they are actively encouraged to write their own vows.
