What does a matwork class involve?
During a matwork class you will be guided through a series of exercises designed to strengthen and tone all aspects of your body. You will learn to stretch tight overworked muscles and strengthen weak postural muscles, bringing balance back into your body. You will learn how to achieve good posture and move more efficiently, alleviating aches and pains. All exercises are done on a mat and some in a standing and sitting position. Sessions end with relaxation and breathing techniques.
