What does a man wear to a cocktail party?
I am from England and at dinner suit/tuxedo would be the only answer, with white shirt and black bow-tie. If the weather is warm you could wear a white tuxedo. If the party is informal, you could try a linen suit (black or natural) with a really colorful shirt and no tie. But remember the women will dress up the nines for a cocktail party; so don’t let them down. Hope that this is of some help to you.
