What does a life coach do?
Different from a therapist or a guidance counselor, a Coach helps you to actively assess your current life–your emotions, skill set, career, health, state of mind, relationships–and collaborates with you to create a plan to move forward. A good Coach focuses on forward movement, rather than analyzing the past to figure out why you are where you’ve gotten. The same way an athlete works with a coach to refine her skills on the field, with a Coach, you can hone your strengths and overcome your weaknesses.
