A komodo dragon will eat any type of meat that it can catch. They have been known to take a deer down. They generally knock their prey off its feet with their tails and then use their teeth to eat it.

A baby komodo dragon will eat small lizards and insects. As they get bigger, the komodo will add mice and other small animals to their menu. The adult komodo dragon will eat anything they can catch including goats, deer and pigs.
