What does a High Fiber Diet Consist of?
A high fiber diet consists of food that naturally contain high levels of fiber. You want to aim for between 25-38 grams of fiber a day. Make sure to drink plenty of water too, so that your body can mover the fiber through. You can increase your daily fiber by adding a few extra things to your meals. Have a salad with apples, avocados, broccoli and assorted greens. Make a bean salad with black beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, green beans and your favorite Italian dressing.
