What does a General error or Unspecified error in the logs mean?

General error is exactly what it means something failed during the transmission or communication of the fax server and fax machine. Since its not defined and there was an error, it gets reported as general error. Unspecified error is very similar to the above, but when the error occurred there was no reporting generated be either the fax server or fax machine. For example, if the receiving fax machine lost its power during transmission that should cause an unspecified error, since the completion of the message could not finish and it was not able to send a reason why either (since the electricity was cut).
