What does a forensic psychologist do in civil court?
A variety of psychological syndromes and disorders negatively impact a client’s occupational, interpersonal, and daily functioning. A forensic psychologist evaluates psychological trauma in cases of emotional suffering and instability. A forensic psychologist is capable of conducting highly detailed and situation-specific psychological or neuropsychological evaluations in civil matters in which feigning or malingering is suspected. A forensic psychologist may act as consultant or provide expert testimony with regard to his/her conclusions.
