What does a Florida woman wear to a January wedding up north?
How far North are you talking? I’m from Chicago, and I’ve been to about 15 weddings in the past three years, all year round. Here’s some examples of what you may want to consider: First, layer layer LAYER. Most places are heated inside, but you have to consider your time outside, and the possiblity that it may be TOO warm in the church or reception hall. this usually means that your “base” shirt/top/dress is short sleeved or sleeveless, then you’ll want a light layer on top of that, and a jacket on top of that. Pantsuit: Nice pair of pants with a nice/sparkly long sleeved top (depending on the time of day, sparkles for night) over a shorter sleeved top. While there aren’t many around right now, Macy’s and Carson Piri Scott (I forget what they’re called in the south) usually have a great selection in the fall.
