What does a DukeWiki space administrator do?
Although OIT creates new DukeWiki wiki spaces upon request from eligible users, the day-to-day administration of each DukeWiki space is the responsibility of the space administrator(s) designated for a DukeWiki space. Space administrators’ roles and privileges include: • Managing access to your wiki space, i.e. permitting members of the Duke community (or the public) access to view and edit pages within your wiki space, or removing that access; • Configuring settings that apply to your entire space, including the look-and-feel (colors, templates, etc.), the space’s name and summary details, and mporting and exporting content; • Restricting access to particular pages or sections within your space to individual users or groups. Each wiki space must have at least one administrator, though several users may be so designated.
