What does a consultation involve ?
In order to determine the most appropriate remedy, I need to build up a detailed picture about you and your symptoms. This takes into consideration your mental, emotional and physical characteristics. I will also ask about your personal and family medical histories. In this way, I can build up a 3 dimensional view of your health so it is possible to see your current symptoms in context. This information is then matched to the remedy that is most suitable for you. The initial visit usually takes approximately one to one and a half hours. I will then spend time after the consultation assessing the information that you have given and will prescribe a remedy. A follow up is usually scheduled for a month later when your reaction to that remedy will be assessed. This appointment takes around 30 minutes.
The initial appointment provides an opportunity to ‘tell your story’. A full case history is taken, and from there a programme of treatment can be commenced which is not only compatible with the individual’s requirements and lifestyle, but will assist in bringing about the desired improvements in health and well being. Practitioner support is available for as long as is required.
