What does a computer data technician do?
Being an engineer, the job title “technician” (to me) usually means a minimum 2 year community college degree which you could later transfer into a 4 year computer science degree (Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences). However, 2 years of training as a computer technician gives you plenty of job opportunities because every government or company has computer networks that must be maintained constantly. Generally, any type of training in the sciences such as computer related degrees have unlimited application areas. Some companies will let you start out working in the Information Technology (IT) department and pay you to go to school to get the 2 or 4 year computer specialty degree you like best after you get to know all the different IT job options.
