What does a car valet involve?
Car valeting (auto detailing in the US) essentially involves the cleaning and restoration of a vehicle back to its appearance when it left the showroom. Indeed, the appearance of a well valeted and maintained vehicle will often be more impressive than when the vehicle was new. Valets come in a range of specifications, from a one hour mini-valet which is a ‘really good interior and exterior clean’ costing from around 30, through to ‘restoration’ valets involving cleaning, washing, polishing & waxing costing in excess of 100.
