What does a Bus Captain do?
The Bus Captain is not a chaperone. He/she will be accompanying the bus from the time of departure through your arrival back on campus. While in Daytona he/she will be making daily rounds to everybody’s room to update the Breakaway Tours itinerary and to see if anybody has any questions (i.e. where to catch shuttle buses, where a good place to eat is, how to go scuba diving, etc…). The bus captain will also be on location at the hotel and at all breakaway itinerary activities, to deal with any questions and/or emergencies that may arise.
