What does a beast represent in Bible prophecies?
Daniel 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. Daniel 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. Daniel 8:21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: NOTE: In Bible prophecy, a beast represents a government, Kingdom, or political power. God uses beasts to symbolize governments, as we do today-an eagle (the USA), a bear (Russia), etc. In the Bible, “beast” is not a disrespectful term. It does not suggest beastly characteristics.
