What does a 4.5 month-old shih tzu puppy (with a japanese chin) look like?
It would be small. Our Shih Tzu was 1lb 7ozs at two months. She is about 8lbs now. I think the males are bigger though. If you mean a beard (for the Japanese chin) All Shih Tzus have a beard. Cute. Only thing is it gets in their dinner and is hard to keep white if it is supposed to be white. Who knows the one you are looking at may have a black or brown one. At4-5 months if it is a little girl she will soon be coming into season and will need to be spayed. I waited until mine had had a season before the operation. She was exactly six months old. She/he should have had all the injections. They have these once a year. I do not know how to insert pictures or I would have sent one.
