WHat does a 10 week fetus look like?
Ten weeks after conception (week 12 of pregnancy) your baby has recognisable facial expressions. His eyes close, remaining sealed until the end of the sixth month. In the first ten weeks a baby has three successive pairs of kidneys. The first pair become the ends of the Fallopian (uterine) tubes in girls. The second pair form the basis of the sperm carrying ducts in boys. Only the last set function. By 10 weeks your baby can curl or spread his toes and close his fingers if his palm is touched, draw his leg away if the sole of his foot is touched, roll over and turn a somersault, stretch his body and yawn, hiccup to strengthen his diaphragm (a muscle that’s vital for breathing),drink his amniotic fluid and unrinate.
If you google pregnancy 10 weeks, it will bring up all of the sites everyone else said and more. I would recommend a trial membership to whattoexpect.com, but all sites seem to give the same information, but some pictures are better than others. Some have numerous ultrasound pictures you can look at. Good luck!
