These numbers refer to the production date. On inscription plates with a barcode, the number in front of the point stands for the month and the number behind the point for the year, e.g. 01.97 stands for January 1997. The first number of inscription plates without a barcode refers to the quarter and the second number to the year. Our example (1.7) stands for the 1st quarter 1997.
