If you are a U.S. citizen, you must have one of the following documents, along with picture I.D. (driver’s license, state/government I.D. card) Original birth certificate. Certified copy of your original birth certificate. or a Valid U.S. Passport. If you are not a U.S. citizen, it is YOUR responsibility to check with your Consulate as well as the Mexican Consulate to determine what documentation is required of you.
