What documents are required for filing?
In divorces without children, you will need at a minimum a Complaint for divorce, Marital Dissolution Agreement and a Judgment of Divorce. If the divorce involves real estate transfers or a division of retirement accounts between spouses, you will also need Quit Claim Deeds and Qualified Domestic Relations Orders respectively. If you ahve children, you will need all the above documents and a Permanent Parenting Plan and an Income Shares Worksheet. If you want to be granted a divorce without appearing before the Court, you will need an Affidavit and Notice of Hearing. Finally, where one spouse provides insurance for the other, you will need to provide an Insurance Notice.
