What documents are needed to be included in the H-1B petition?
Your prospective employer files the H-1B petition on your behalf with the following documentation: > Form I-129. Petition for Alien Worker with any other supplementary forms. > Cover letter with non-technical job description. This should establish that the job being offered is a specialty occupation; i.e. in order to discharge job duties it requires some one with at least a baccalaureate degree. > Labor Condition Application approved by US DOL > If you are in the US: Evidence of your current non-immigrant status > Filing Fee > Resume (CV) > Copies of transcripts including High School Diploma, Degree Certificate, Transcripts (Memorandum of Mark Sheets showing courses taken and grades), any special training undergone. > Education evaluation letter. Highly recommended if the prospective employee does not have a four (4) year college degree. > Any other documentation as required by Immigration Office at the time of filing.
